Probe on death of Russian

The police are investigating the death of a Russian national in Kattunayake, the police media unit said today. The police said that the Russian was found dead hanging from the neck at a guest house along the airport road. According to the police the 35 year old was found dead after his room was forced open. He was found hanging with an elastic rope tied around his neck yesterday. The post-mortem is to be carried out today. (Colombo Gazette)

Ex LTTE cadres arrested over ATM fraud
