Former Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake passed away today. He passed away after falling ill and while he was receiving treatment in hospital. He was 83 years old. Release of delimitation committee report further delayed

The release of the report by the delimitation committee reviewing the demarcation of electoral boundaries in local government wards, has been further delayed. The Ministry of Local Government and Provincial Councils said the release of the report has been delayed owing to some administrative issues.
