Royal Park murder convict prevented from travelling overseas

Royal Park murder convict Jude Shramantha Anthony Jayamaha has been prevented from travelling overseas. The Supreme Court today issued an interim injunction preventing the overseas travel of Jude Shramantha Anthony Jayamaha. Jude Jayamaha was released earlier this month on a Presidential pardon. Sri Lanka to release Indian fishing boats

Sri Lanka is to release Indian fishing boats in Sri Lankan custody. The decision was taken following talks held today between President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. Speaking at a joint media conference Rajapaksa said that he has decided to release all Indian fishing boats detained by Sri Lanka. The boats were detained after Indian fishermen were arrested for poaching in Sri Lankan waters. (Colombo Gazette)
