  1. The South Asian intellectuals know that the West had deceived India. It’s very clear India’s policies have been unsuccessful since the independence. There is a change since PM Modi took the office, but hasn’t done enough to lift India’s role as leader. Since the independence Sri Lankan leaders have been looking somewhere else to develop their country. India created terrorism in Sri Lanka and continue to play dirty to keeps its dominant power in South Asia. This strategy can be successful in a short term, but in the long term it will backfire on India. I believe that within few decades India will lose Sri Lanka. Only old school politicians RW, MS and Samanthan will support India. But younger politicians won’t tolerate India’s dirty tricks. Namal Rajapaksa’s recent actions are clearly and loudly indicating the Sri Lanka’s future.
