Susil Premajayantha insists no allegations against him

Minister of Science, Technology and Research Susil Premajayantha insists he is not facing any allegation similar to that faced by former Justice Minister?Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe.

Premajayantha says he is well aware of his cabinet responsibility but at the same time also speaks on behalf of the public.

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) yesterday said it has not taken any decision on some critical comments made on the Government by Premajayantha.

SLFP spokesman Dayasiri Jayasekera said the SLFP has not discussed the matter with the President.

Susil Premajayantha, an SLFP member, had been critical of the cabinet decision on the Hambantota port deal.
