Vietnam and Sri Lanka had high level talks on several matters including regional and international issues.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Vasantha Senanayake met Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Dinh Quy in Hanoi for talks.
Both sides agreed to increase exchanges of delegations and also organize the 3rd political consultations at the deputy foreign minister level. They discussed measures to raise the value of bilateral trade to USD $ 1 billion and help their companies invest in each country.
Vietnam and Sri Lanka also discussed regional and international issues of common interest and agreed to continue to assist each other in regional and international forums. (Colombo Gazette)
