Petroleum trade unions today assured that there will be no more strikes as they had received an acceptable solution to their concerns from President Maithripala Sirisena.
Meanwhile, 16 employees of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) were granted bail today after they appeared in court.
The Colombo Additional Magistrate yesterday ordered the arrest of the 16 employees of CPC who had staged a protest last week.
The CPC employees were ordered to be arrested after they failed to appear in court yesterday. (Colombo Gazette)
