Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe in record run chase

Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe in a record run chase in the one and only Test cricket match between both countries during Zimbabwe’s tour to Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankans beat Zimbabwe by 4 wickets in the fourth highest run chase in Test cricket.

Batting first Zimbabwe scored 356 in their first innings and Sri Lanka replied with 346 runs.

In the second innings Zimbabwe scored 377 runs and Sri Lanka scored 391 runs for the loss of six wickets to win the match.

West Indies top the list of highest fourth innings totals to win a game after scoring 418 runs against Australia in May 2003.
