Qatar PM and Karunanayake discuss impact of Gulf crisis

The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani met Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake, and the accompanying delegation, in Doha and discussed the crisis in the Gulf.

Talks  dealt with relations between Qatar and Sri Lanka and means of enhancing them in addition to the latest developments in the region, the Gulf Times reported

Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani also met Ravi Karunanayake, and the accompanying delegation.

Talks dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them in addition to issues of common concern.

The Foreign Minister briefed his Lankan counterpart on the latest developments in the Gulf crisis and the illegal measures taken against Qatar. (Colombo Gazette)
