Sri Lanka agrees to send cricket team to Pakistan

The Sri Lankan cricket team will visit Pakistan for one-day international (ODI) and Twenty20 series in the end of this year.

Media reports while quoting sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that after Pakistan’s win in Champions Trophy and improvement in security conditions Sri Lanka has agreed to send team to Pakistan in November or December.

Associated Press of Pakistan said while quoting officials in the PCB that the matches will be played in Lahore. The Sri Lankan players will get a high-profile security during their visit.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) World Eleven team will also visit Pakistan for T20 series in September. Players from Australia, West Indies, Sri Lanka and South Africa will be included in the World Eleven team. (Courtesy MENAFN)
