President bans import of palm oil

The Government has decided to ban the import of palm oil to Sri Lanka. The President?s Media Division (PMD) said a decree in this regard was issued by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today. Sajith says sorry for failing to prevent 2019 attacks

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today apologised for failing to prevent the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks. He said he was sorry that the attacks took place when he was a member of the Cabinet.
