Harsha, Eran, Ranjan, Karu, Vasantha, Yapa get new portfolios

Several Deputy Ministers were reshuffled by President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretaries today.

Former Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva was appointed as the new Deputy Minister for National Policies and Economic Affairs, Ranjan Ramanayake as the new Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage, Karunarathna Paranawithana as the Deputy Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training and Palitha Range Bandara as the Deputy Minister of Irrigation.

Lasantha Alagiyawanna was appointed as the new Deputy Finance Minister and Deputy Minister of Mass Media. Eran Wickremeratne took oaths as the new State Minister of Finance.

Vasantha Senanayake was appointed as the new State Minister of Foreign Affairs and Lakshman Yapa as the State Minister of Public Enterprise Development. (Colombo Gazette)
