Court summons Mervyn Silva over abductions

The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s court today issued summons on former Parliamentarian Mervyn Silva to give evidence on alleged abductions and disappearances. The?Chief Magistrate has ordered the former Minister to appear in court on November 11. Sri Lanka offers to work with the Fiji military

Sri Lanka has offered to work with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), the Fiji Sun Online reported. Highly decorated Sri Lankan officer, Major-General Aruna Perera, met with Fiji Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama in Suva. Major General Perera mentioned Sri Lanka?s offer to work to assist the RFMF.
