Gayantha insists he has not asked for additional roles

Lands and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Gayantha Karunatillake denied claims he had sought more responsibilities.

Karunatillake told Parliament he was happy with what was given to him in the cabinet reshuffle and had not asked for more positions.

The former Media Minister said that when he was given his previous portfolios he accepted them with no objections.

He said that when the current portfolios were offered to him he accepted it and had not had any discussions with the President seeking more responsibilities. (Colombo Gazette)
