South Africa offers to mediate

South Africa has offered to mediate between the government and the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) to resume direct talks, the TNA said. SLJTU and Keheliya discuss code

The newly formed Sri Lanka Journalists Trade Union (SLJTU) has had discussions with Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella on the proposed media code of ethics. Sihala Ravaya on street demo

The Sihala Ravaya launched a street demonstration today to highlight various issues, the organization said. Monks attached to the Sihala Ravaya as well as their supporters launched the walk from Dehiwala this morning and headed to Colombo along the Galle Road.
