Wife of man found dead, daughter, son-in-law remanded

The wife of a man found dead?in Wattala, his daughter and son-in-law?were today ordered to be remanded till May 23 over his alleged murder.

The man had gone missing and his family had claimed he had gone overseas.

However police investigations found that the claims were false and further investigations led to the discovery of the body of the 65 year old man behind his house.

The?wife of the?man, his daughter and son-in-law later confessed to killing him.?They said that he was killed for harassing the family. (Colombo Gazette)
