Wanted thief steals from house of Anglican priest

A wanted thief, Nigel Jacotine alias Nigel Ghouse, has stolen again, this time from a house of an Anglican priest. The thief has gone into the house and stolen from the priest at knife-point before fleeing. The accused has stolen from a number of stores and other locations in Colombo and Wattala. Sri Lanka to import gas from Thailand

Sri Lanka has decided to import gas from Thailand to meet its urgent demand. Cabinet approval has been obtained to import gas from Thailand?s Siam Gas Company. The Chairman of State owned Litro Gas, Vijitha Herath said that Siam Gas has agreed to supply gas to Sri Lanka. He said that the Thai company has also agreed to provide gas with a 10% reduction in supply charges.
