Number of missing in Meethotamulla revised to zero

The number of people missing?following the garbage dump landslide in?Meethotamulla has been revised to zero.

Deputy Director of the Disaster Management Centre Pradeep Kodippili told the Colombo Gazette that since there was no clarity on how many are exactly missing the figure was revised to zero.

Earlier the number of missing was reported as 30 with around 30 others dead but later the number of missing was brought down to 11 and then eight.

In the latest situation report the?Disaster Management Centre has put the number of dead as 32 with zero missing and 11 injured. (Colombo Gazette)
