Prime Minister to visit Japan for talks with Shinzo Abe

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe accompanied by Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe will be visiting Japan from 10 April to 16 April 2017.

During this visit, The Prime Minister will hold a meeting with Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, followed by several other engagements.

The Government of Japan has announced that they are looking forward to the visit which they believe will serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Sri Lanka.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Dr Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Special Assignments, Malik Samarawickreme, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, Prof Ashu Marasinghe, MP, Saman Ekanayake, Secretary to the Prime Minister, Saman Athaudahetti, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister, Ms Sandra Perera, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on this visit.
