President heads to Indonesia, talks with Widoda on Wednesday

President Maithripala Sirisena left for Indonesia today to attend the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Summit and have talks with Indonesian President Joko Widoda.

Widoda had invited President Maithripala Sirisena to pay a state visit to his country immediately after his scheduled participation at the IORA Summit in Jakarta.

President Sirisena will attend the IORA Summit on 6th and 7th of March and will begin his State visit on March 8.

  1. President visiting oversees is wasting of the Tax Payers money .
    Country’s an Economic is in mess that large of people are suffering without food water and daily needs; UNP leaders- CBK and President have been neglected by lifeline of majority people’s by current misruled of governance. .

    President must stop visit oversees by spending poor tax payers .We cannot beware cost of visiting of President on the oversees in timely is not essential at all.
