Price of cement increased

The price of cement has been increased with effect from today. As a result, the price of a 50 Kg cement bag has been increased by Rs. 93. Disciplinary action taken against Sri Lankan athletes and officials

Disciplinary action has been taken against three Sri Lankan athletes and two officials who participated in the Inter-State Athletic Championship in India. The Sports Ministry said that disciplinary action has been taken against the team manager S.S. N Abeysekera, Coach Vimukthi de Soysa and athletes Kalinga Kumarage, Shelinda Jansen and Lakshika Sugandhi. Cost of wheat flour goes up

The cost of wheat flour has been increased by Rs. 10 per kilo with effect from today. Serendib Flour Mills (Pvt.) Ltd and Prima announced the increase in the price of wheat flour.
