Celebrating 60 years of Sino-Lanka diplomatic ties

On 8 February 2017, the opening ceremony of Chinese culture fair was held at the Independence Square. Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Champika Ranawaka and Chinese Ambassador Yi Xianliang as well as more than 200 people from various circles attended the ceremony.

The culture fair was held to mark 60 years of diplomatic ties between Sri Lanka and China.
