Panneerselvam says he was forced to resign

In what was seen as an act of rebellion, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam on Tuesday said he was repeatedly “humiliated by own partymen and was forced to resign as Chief Minister.”

In a late-night development, he visited the Jayalalithaa memorial at Chennai’s Marina beach and was seen sitting in silence.

“I have revealed only 10% of what I have to say, what has happened behind the scenes,” says O. Panneerselvam

“I have no business ties with DMK,” he says, also denying that the BJP backed him. (Courtesy The Hindu)
