Eight stabbed and man held in ‘major incident’ in UK

Eight people, including a number of children, have been injured in a stabbing in a UK town. Hamas political leader Haniyeh killed in Iran

Top Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has been killed in an Israeli attack in the Iranian capital, the group has said. According to Iranian media, Haniyeh was staying at a building for war veterans in Tehran when the attack occurred around 02:00 (00:00 GMT). Some reports suggest he was killed in an air strike. Bangladesh top court scraps most job quotas that triggered deadly protests
