Another Lasantha and Mahinda telephone conversation leaked

Another telephone conversation between slain journalist Lasantha Wickremetunga and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has been leaked in the media.
The telephone conversation leaked on the “srilankamirror” website has Wickremetunga and Rajapaksa having a conversation about a list containing the names of journalists under threat in the country.
The list had been circulated to foreign missions in Colombo and Wickremetunga is heard telling Rajapaksa to obtain a copy of the letter from a few foreign missions to investigate where the letter came from.
Wickremetunga tells Rajapaksa the government must show the foreign missions that it is ready to investigate the list. (Colombo Gazette)
