Sri Lanka and Tajikistan sign agreements following talks

The leaders of Sri Lanka and Tajikistan had wide-ranging discussions today and both countries also signed four bilateral agreements.

President Maithripala Sirisena today received the state delegation led by the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, who is on a state visit to Sri Lanka, at the Presidential Secretariat.

In order to strengthen bilateral relations, the two leaders held discussions and entered into four bilateral agreements in the fields of political consultation, tourism, physical training and sports, and economic corporation. (Colombo Gazette)
