Diesel secured under credit line from India arrives in Colombo

A consignment of 35,000 metric tonnes of diesel secured by Sri Lanka under a credit line from India, arrived in Colombo today. CWC withdraws from talks with GR on economic crisis

The Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) has decided to withdraw from talks with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to discuss the economic crisis in the country. Energy Minister’s driver murdered over private dispute

A driver of Energy Minister Gamini Lokuge has been murdered over a personal dispute. The driver had been attacked using clubs and sharp objects. The 41-year-old man is a father of two and is a resident of Gammanawatta in Mawittara, Kesbewa. (Colombo Gazette)
