Ranil denies claims he declared himself candidate

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has denied claims he had declared himself as the Presidential candidate of the United National Party (UNP) during talks with a group of UNP seniors yesterday. Two dead, 18 admitted to hospital during spiritual healing camp

Two people died and 18 others were admitted to hospital during a spiritual healing health camp in Anuradhapura. Hospital sources said that a man and a woman had died after being admitted to hospital. Several people from around the country had attended the camp hoping to be cured from their illness.
