Joint opposition cautioned on attempts to create instability

Duminda DissanayakeThe Government has cautioned the joint opposition on making attempts to create instability in the country.

Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) General Secretary and Minister Duminda Dissanayake said that the Government must be allowed to run its full term.

He says if there are concerns over any decision taken by the Government those concerns should be discussed and resolved.

“We can do politics at an election but now we must build the country,” he said. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. Opposition is there to make constructive criticism. They have the mandate for it. Ranil was not doing in while in opposition.He had internal party problems. Now it is the time for the Government to Perform and accept criticisms. There is a vibrant media freedom and Right of Information. Every move of the Government is watched by all. Governments cannot fool the people all the time.
