The Prime Minister told Parliament the incident where the police had used tear gas and water cannons on the disabled soldiers during a protest near the Presidential Secretariat will be investigated.
The Defence Ministry had this week expressed regret over the incident.
State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene had said this week that political forces working against the Government must take responsibility for the incident.
