Chinese woman arrested with 247 gems at BIA

A Chinese woman was arrested at the Banadaranaike International Airport today with 247 gems.

The foreigner was arrested while attempting to smuggle the gems out of Sri Lanka.

The gems are worth over Rs. 11 million.
