Speaking to a group of Sri Lankan journalists in Brussels, the Prime Minister said that several issues were resolved in the country since the two main political parties worked together.
Wickremesinghe said that following the UN Human Rights Council session in March next year the Government will be able to resolve some outstanding matters related to human rights.
He also said that the Government has discussed several plans for the future and now is the time to implement those plans.
The Prime Minister said that India has come forward to assist in developing Trincomalee while China is to develop Hambantota. (Colombo Gazette)
