Janashakthi Insurance PLC was recognised yet again for its excellence in salesmanship at the recently concluded Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) National Sales Congress (NASCO) Awards 2016. Taking home 2 Golds, 3 Silvers and 3 Bronze awards with a total of 8 awards,the Janashakthi sales team walked away with the highest number of awards to be won in the Insurance industry for the second year in a row. The Insurer achieved this feat in a year when SLIM NASCO received a record 500 entries, the highest ever in the event’s 16 year history.

Janashakthi marked a significant milestone at this year’s NASCO awards, reaffirming the level of professionalism and aptitudeseen within the Janashakthi Sales force. The Insurer was successful in clinching all 3 awards in the General Insurance Front-Liner category with Saman Indrasiri, K.D.S. Udesh and B. G. Dasanga Dayananda clinching the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards respectively. M.C.M. Noushad was awarded the Bronze in the Territory Manager category for General Insurance, whilst Susantha Dissanayake and S. Sivanarenthiran were awarded the Silver and Bronze respectively in the Sales Supervisor/ Executive category for General Insurance. The Territory Manager category Gold award for Life Insurance was presented to Sakuna Jayasuriya, whilst Mahinda Kariyawasam was presented the Silver award in the Executive/Supervisor category for Life Insurance.
