Four more patients were reported to have contracted the coronavirus in Sri Lanka as of 04.30 p.m. today. Permits provided for vehicles transporting essential goods

The Police have been instructed to provide permits to vehicles transporting essential consumer goods and vegetables to economic centres during the islandwide Police curfew currently in effect due to the covid-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka. Place of worship raided for violating curfew

A place of worship was raided by the Police today for violating the curfew and 18 people were arrested, the Police media unit said. The Police said that information was received of prayers being conducted at the place of worship in Horowpathana today.
