An investigation is underway after a female student of the Jaffna University, Technology Faculty which is located in Kilinochchi, had attempted to commit suicide after being harassed over the phone by fellow male students. IMF finds Sri Lanka fell short of expected target in 2019

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that preliminary data found that Sri Lanka fell short of the primary surplus target in 2019 under the program supported by the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
