Sri Lanka and Indonesia look at ways to strengthen relations

Sri Lanka?s Ambassador to Indonesia Dharshana Perera called on Dr H Ade Komarudin, MH, the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat) of Indonesia at?NUSANTARA II of the Parliament Building of Indonesia in Jakarta.

During the discussion, ways and means of expanding the strengthen relations including between the Legislatures of Indonesia and Sri Lanka were discussed.

Among the initiatives considered are the exchange of visits of the Speakers, establishment and intensification of interactions between the Indonesia- Sri Lanka Parliamentary Friendship Groups and with the Commission-I which is responsible for foreign policy, defence, security and media of the Indonesian Parliament.

The Speaker was accompanied by Vice Speaker, Fahri Hamzah, and other senior Parliamentary Officials.

Pakistan provinces unable to pay Dam management dues
