Keheliya’s son Ramith arrested over road accident

12036852_10206543084769697_6854198528279082748_nRamith Rambukwella, son of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, was arrested today over a road accident.

The police said that Rambukwella was arrested over an accident which took place at Independence Avenue in Colombo and that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the arrest.

Rambukwella was released on police bail, the police media unit said.

Ramith Rambukwella is also a member of the Sri Lanka cricket team and is the second cricketer to be arrested this week over a road accident.

Earlier this week cricketer Nuwan Kulasekera was arrested over a road accident and was released on police bail. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. Apparently he was training to be the world’s first human Crash Test Dummy. Rambukwella’s are world famous as I know crash landings old man was a master at it most of the Sri Lankans remembers his upside down landing in down under Australia. At least this time young Rambukwella didn’t confused the tree as a in flight lavatory door.
