CPA urges swift action to address increase in violence

Suspects further remanded over killing of leopard in Kilinochchi

A group of suspects arrested over the recent killing of a leopard in Kilinochchi have been ordered to be further remanded. Ten suspects, including some who had been in remand till today, were ordered to be remanded till July 3rd by the Kilinochchi Magistrate. Villagers in Kilinochchi had recently captured and killed a leopard after it attacked 10 people in the area.
