Committee finds fresh probe not required on Sobitha Thero’s death

A committee appointed on the death of the Venerable?Maduluwawe sobitha thero, has found that a fresh inquiry is not required over his demise.
The Chairman of the National Movement for a Just Society, the Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha thero?passed away in November last year.
Maduluwawe Sobhitha thero was in critical condition and was receiving treatment in hospital in Singapore when he passed away.
Some groups raised suspicion over his death and this led to the appointment of a committee to investigate the death.
Maduluwawe Sobhitha thero was the chief incumbent of the Kotte Naga Vihara?and?played a key role to bring the?new Government in January?by?supporting common candidate Maithripala Sirisena for presidency. (Colombo Gazette)
