Police nab over 480 people ahead of polls

The police have arrested over 480 people in election related incidents since the day Parliament was dissolved and elections were declared. Police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that the police had conducted 214 raids at several locations from the day elections were called for till yesterday. Probe begins on body of male found near beach

Police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that the male has not yet been identified and investigations are underway.
