Belarus hopes to enhance cooperation with Sri Lanka

Belarus President Alexander LukashenkoBelarus President Alexander Lukashenko says his country hopes to enhance cooperation with Sri Lanka.

Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to President Maithripala Sirisena, the BelTA news agency reported.

“I am convinced that under your leadership the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka will be vigorously developing for the benefit of every Sri Lankan family and in order to enhance the authority of the country in the international arena,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state expressed hope that Belarus and Sri Lanka will continue advancing all-round cooperation relying on the principles of mutual respect and partnership. (Colombo Gazette)
