TNA meets Ranil and discusses several concerns

Sampanthan-60000-1The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has met Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and discussed several concerns, the TNA media office said.

TNA and opposition leader R. Sampanthan led the delegation for the talks with the Prime Minister yesterday, a statement by the TNA said today.

During the meeting the TNA said the issue of some families being resettled illegally in the North and the construction of Buddhist statues in the area were discussed.

The Prime Minister has assured that he will look into the concerns raised by the TNA. (Colombo Gazette)
