Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry says the band’s next tour may not be their last. In June, frontman Steven Tyler said that the group is doing a farewell tour. Perry, though, says the idea of a farewell tour is only ‘an option,’ reported Rolling Stone.
“I don’t know if I’m comfortable saying ‘final tour’ and making a big deal out of it, but we’ll see what happens. If it was going to happen, we’re closer to it than, say, any other time in our insane career,” Perry, who is currently on tour with Hollywood Vampires, said.
“But it’s really hard for me to imagine a last gig. Sorry,” he added. Aerosmith formed in the early ’70s and last released a new album in 2012. Tyler’s been focusing on his solo career, and is debuting his first album without the band July 15. (Courtesy PTI)
