The Health Ministry has denied claims that coronavirus vaccines are being sold locally. According to the Health Ministry, any coronavirus vaccine sold in Sri Lanka is not an approved vaccine. Guidelines issued to private hospitals on PCR and RAT tests

The Ministry of Health has issued guidelines to private hospitals on PCR and Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT). Director General of Health, Dr. Asela Gunawardana issued the guidelines to the private hospitals in writing today. Over 20,000 policemen deployed to enforce travel ban

Over 20,000 policemen have been deployed to enforce a travel ban in the country. Police Spokesman, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that the travel ban will be strictly enforced.
