  1. Well if new Governor had worked for Galleon Hedge Fund’s Raj Rajaratnam, there’s nothing wrong becaz his former boss is a very crooked man and now languishing in jail.!!! If you take it from same token then all Government employees not suitable because their Bosses happens to be the Ministers and you all know the Character of those ministers !!!???

  2. We totally disagreed of this an appointment of CB governor by UNP selected candidate approved by MS of SL President?
CB is institution that very sensitive of political sovereignty and economic sovereignty.
We do not need man without clear credentials of his bond washing person in USA as adviser or consultant .

The person who had been involved an adviser of Tony Rajaratan who had been punished by USA court of law that charges related to the inside trading world largest stock market in New York.

How can such man be good for our head of Central Bank of Ours ?

The position of Governor -CB is that lucrative business deal for him , but Sri Lankan are concern is an economic sensitive and it is that sovereignty of our nation survival!!

We want board consensus on this issue to be confirmed CB position by majority public. That is democracy of economic sovereignty of people of Island.

We are urgently demand and want to revitalization CB and other leading Banking system and Monetary policy to be re-order by current regime.

  3. A good selection and a suitable personality to lead the Island’s Central Bank. I am sure his appointment will be acceptable to both government & Joint-opposition members of the parliament Our heartiest congratulations and best wishes for successful tenure in the office, which should guide our financial sector during these critical times..
