The coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increased to 579 this evening, the Ministry of Health said. According to the Ministry of Health, four more deaths linked to the virus were confirmed today. A heat weather advisory has been issued for parts of Sri Lanka by the Department of Meteorology. Modi says NDA ensured release of fishermen detained by Sri Lanka

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi says his National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government ensured the release of fishermen detained by Sri Lanka. He said that after the NDA came to power there has not been any fisherman in the custody of Sri Lanka.
