China has donated Rs.1 million to the Jaffna Library as part of Chinese assistance to the North.
The Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Yi Xianliang donated Rs.1 million and a batch of books about China to the Chief Librarian Mrs. Suganthi, which will support development of the Library, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said.
