Harim Peiris appointed Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs

Harim Peiris was today appointed as an Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera.

Peiris revived his official letter of appointment from Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera. Peiris is also Sri Lanka’s Point of Contact for the Open Government Partnership (OGP).

Peiris previously served as the official Presidential Spokesperson for former President Chandrika Kumaratunga, as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and as Director General for Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation, in which capacity he oversaw the implementation of a range of multilaterally funded rehabilitation and reconstruction projects in the North and East. 1. Mangala thinks that if he draw water from contaminated water pool magically it will become drinkable water. Your brain power and analyzing capacity aren’t good enough to deal with the smart world. If this is the reality, why are you getting human resources from the useless pool of human resources?
