PM instructs officials to repair homes damaged by Kosgama incident

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today instructed officials to repair?the homes damaged by the Kosgama incident using Government funds.

The Prime Minister visited?Kosgama today and inspected the damage caused by the fire and massive explosions at the army camp.

Later he had a meeting with the Minister of Disaster Management Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and others, including joint opposition member Dinesh Gunawardena.

At the meeting he discussed the measures to be taken to assist the families affected by the incident.

Several houses around the camp were damaged from the vibrations and shrapnel.?(Colombo Gazette)
