Relief for drought affected women on loans up to Rs 100,000

Sirisena and Ranil issued notice to appear in court over Tissa case

Navy arrests seven Indian fishermen for fishing in Sri Lankan waters

The Navy arrested seven Indian fishermen and detained two dhows engaged in illegal fishing in Sri Lankan territorial waters. The arrest was made by a Fast Attack Craft and a Coast Guard vessel attached to the Northern Naval Command in the seas, 10.5 nautical miles northwest of the Kankesanthurei Lighthouse.
